Frisco's Reedy High School will Bring Zoning Changes to Current Frisco HS, Lone Star, and Wakeland Students

Monday night, October 15, Frisco ISD released their initial zoning plan for the new Reedy High School to open in the Fall of 2015 for the 2015-16 school year. The Reedy zone will generally run west of Teel Pkwy. and south of Main Street, with an addition of the Pearson Farms neighborhood east of Teel, and The Trails and Meadowcreek neighborhoods north of Main Street.

Additionally, in an attempt to try and level out the attendance at the other high schools on the west side of Frisco, there will be some modifications for the Lone Star High School and Wakeland High School Zoning. The neighborhoods of Marina Vista and Eldorado Estates will now be zoned to attend Lone Star High School instead of Wakeland High School.

The final decision on the schools' zoning will be released in January. If you would like to give the district input or your thoughts about the zoning line, they are asking that you use the contact information listed on the rezoning page on the Frisco ISD website.
